On October 26, 2006 on Jason's 30th Birthday, we announced the kickoff of our Fund
Raising drive to establish the Staff Sgt Jason R Hendrix Memorial Scholarship.
We are needing the help of everyone to make this a reality. We will be having Benefits and
Events to raise the money that will be needed to make this a lasting Legacy. Check out

On October 26, 2006 (Jason's 30th Birthday) the Mayor of Claremore Oklahoma, Brant
Shallenburger proclaimed the day as Staff Sgt Jason R Hendrix day. Proclamation
Announcement - On December 17th Jason's Peace Organization
with the assistance of Northeastern State University, in Talequah
Oklahoma was able to present to a Thunderbird Youth Academy
Cadet a tuition free Scholarship in Staff Sgt Jason R Hendrix's
honor and memory. The Scholarship is renewable each semester
(as with any Scholarship as long as grades are maintained) until
graduation. The first recipient of the Staff Sgt Jason R Hendrix
Scholarship is Tarah McCorkle from Talequah Oklahoma.
